The villians of Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon are the backbone of the show. Without them, who would the Senshi save earth from. It is said that all the villians were the henchmen of Choas. Most of them tried to take over the earth but were beaten by Sailor Moon and her team.

In each season there are their villians. In Sailormoon, the Dark Kingdom wanted to dominate earth for Queen Metalia. In the first half of Sailormoon R, Ail and Ann the Makaiju Children wanted to suck earth of it's energy while in the second half of Sailormoon R, the Black Moon family wanted to destory 20th Century earth.

In Sailormoon S, Death Busters wanted to silence the world through the Silence Messiah. In Sailormoon Super S, Dead Moon Circus headed by Queen Neherina appeared to destroy the White Moon clan. In the first half of Sailormoon Sailor Stars, Queen Neherina came back for revenge after her failed attack on earth in Sailormoon Super S. Finally, the Sailor Senshi conforted the evilest of all villians, Sailor Galaxia and her Sailor Animates wanted star seeds to take over the whole galaxy. But all of them were beaten through the love and purity of Sailor Moon and her team.
